Dr. Christopher Spray
Dr. Chris Spray is a Reader in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Loughborough University. His research interests focus on motivational processes in physical education and youth sport. He has published mainly in the areas of achievement goals, implicit theories of ability (mindsets), and self-determination. He is a former Associate Editor for Psychology of Sport and Exercise and currently serves on the editorial boards of a number of scientific journals. His teaching interests cut across psychology and pedagogy and he leads the Sport, Coaching and Physical Education Pedagogy group at Loughborough (https://www.lboro.ac.uk/schools/sport-exercise-health-sciences/people/christopher-spray/).
